He was predeceased by: his spouse Juel McAleer; his grandsons, Justin and Emmett; his parents, James McAleer and Jane McAleer; and his brother Buddy.
He is survived by: his children, Joanne Csordas (Zoltan), Catherine McAleer, Doug McAleer (Mary), Greg McAleer (Diane), Tracy Doran (Dan), Terry McAleer and Angela Moran; his grandchildren, Alexia, Tristan, Tyler, Samara, Patrick, Alaina, Rhiannon, Alinor, Morgana and Amber; and his great grandchildren, Joci, Evi and Liam. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and extended family.
