She was predeceased by: her spouse Jan Verhulp; her parents, Cornelis Boelhouwer and Pietertje Boelhouwer; and her siblings, Hans and Adriana.
She is survived by: her children, Jack (Gerry), Robert (Helen), Katherine Birt (Randy), JoAnne Diamond (Blaine) and Janice Murphy (Jim); her grandchildren, Mark (Vicky), Anthony (Cavell), Jason, Kelvin, Jonathan (Andrea), Nicholas (Tanya), Timothy (Lori), Matthew (Farzaneh), James (Emily), Rebecca (Eric), Shannon and Tony; and her siblings, Teuntje, Corrie, Rina, Gerrie, Christina and Sonya.
