He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Roop and Hazel Roop; and his former wife Susan Roop. He is survived by: his children, Colin (Pauline Tran-Roop), Mark Roop, Grampie of Madeleine, Hannah and Gabriel; his wife Jackie; and his brother David Roop (Robert Corrigan).
