He was predeceased by: his son Dale; his brother Chester MacLure; and his parents, Ernest MacLure and Sadie MacLure of North Rustico. He is survived by: his wife Frances MacLure; his children, Gloria Dorgan (Patrick) and Alan MacLure; his stepdaughters, Anne Cheverie (Paul), Norma Watts (Stephen), Shelley Lamphier-Flood (John) and Terri Lamphier MacDonald (Jody); his grandchildren, Stephanie Dorgan (Marcus) and Poppy; and his sister Mae MacDonald (late John).
