He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe and Bertha; his siblings, Jimmy, Martin, Patsy and Marilyn; his foster parents, Martin MacDonald and Roma MacDonald; his mother-in-law Janice Green; and his siblings-in-law, Eileen Robertson (Allen), Deirdre Green (Jim), Tom Green and Tim Green (Tina).

He is survived by: his wife Susan; his son Lance; his daughter-in-law Ariel Gogan; his grandson Wyatt; his siblings, Joe (Trudi), Belinda Montigny, Della Godkin (Heartz), Barron (Sherlynn), Brendon (Mary) and Michelle Collings (Mike); his sister-in-law Mary McAskill; and his aunt Louise MacLean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
