He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard McQuaid and Ethel McQuaid; his siblings, Earl, Pat, Maurice and Teresa Doyle; his brother-in-law Billy Doyle; his parents-in-law, Cecil and Pauline Grainger; his siblings-in-law, Mike Grainger, Nic Grainger, Martin Grainger and Carole Grainger; and his great grandchild Maeve Burrows.
He is survived by: his children, Kerri Burrows (Danny) and Andrew McQuaid (Tracy Davidson); his grandchildren, Brian (Jody), Gregory (Paige), Tristan Burrows (Jillian), Shelbie (Mat Cardinal) and Hannah McQuaid (Ethan Stuckel); his great grandchildren, Kannon, Leah, Kylee, Zander and Mila Burrows; his stepgrandsons, Todd (Tia) and Colby Whilt; his brother Joe; his sister-in-law Kaye; his sister Diane Doiron (Roger); his sister-in-law Judy Sheehan (Leo); and his close friends, Gerard and Rose Long. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Belvedere Funeral Home (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Bonaventure's Roman Catholic Church (1295 Donaldston Rd, Tracadie Cross, PE C0A1T0).
