It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Morrison of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on May 7, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret McQuaid-Morrison; his parents, John Morrison and Ruth Morrison; and his siblings, Bertha Geldert, Susan MacPhail and Vernon Morrison.
He is survived by: his children, Charlene Hopkinson (Kenny), Carl McQuaid (Carol Ann) and Darlene Trainor (Pat); and his grandchildren, Candace, Jamilyn, Robert, Rhiannon and Nathaniel.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home (35 Longworth Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A5A3). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home Chapel (35 Longworth Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A5A3).
