It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Murphy (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on May 24, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughters, Alice Lynn and Louann Murphy; his parents, Albert Murphy and Mary Murphy; and his sisters, Eileen Trainor (Austin) and Noreen O'Hanley.

He is survived by: his spouse Audrey Murphy; his children, Roxanne Smith (Kevin) and Joey Murphy; his grandchildren, Carly Smith, Ava Smith, Alex Murphy, Lilly Murphy and Lauren Murphy; his siblings, Alberta Smith (Carmen), Ann Perry (Gerard), Mae Chapman (Gary) and Emmett Murphy (Barb); and his brother-in-law Earl O'Hanley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of PEI.
