She was predeceased by: her spouse Peter Saunders; her parents, Leo MacDonald and Florence MacDonald (Chisolm); her sisters, Inez White (Alexander) and Refina Murray (Keith); and her siblings-in-law, William, John, Stephen, Leo Saunders (Rita), Marion Donnell (Amedie), Kate Leger (Art) and Gladys Bulger (Peter).

She is survived by: her children, Teresa Bell (Wayne), Noel Saunders, Gail Gillis (Kenneth) and Robin Saunders; her grandchildren, David Bell (Melanie Jackson), Courtney Saunders, Lindsey MacPherson (Chad) and Dylan Gillis; her great grandchild Cody Saunders; her siblings, Velma Ross (late Harold), Leona Pereschak (Bill) and Claudia Pineau (Joe); and her siblings-in-law, Alma MacDonald (late Horace) and Beulah Saunders (late Cecil). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital or to the Alzheimer's Society.
