With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Dewar (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dewar and Mae Dewar; her sister Diane; and her brother-in-law Bill Crandall. She is survived by: her children, Chris Snively (Tara) and Paul Snively (Shannon); her grandchildren, Robert Snively (Mikala) and Jordan Snively (Emma); her great grandchildren, Henry and Eleanor Snively; and her nephews, David Crandall (Donna) and Bruce Crandall (Paula).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Katherine Dewar may be made to The PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation, Brudenell Cemetery, or charity of your choice.
