He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dowling and Betty Dowling (Ford); and his siblings, Dolores Myers, Donnie and Jimmy Dowling.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Dowling (Lydia Dowling), Lindsay Ellis (Jordan Ellis) and Candice Dowling (Coady Carter); the mother of his children Lillian Dowling; his brother Shane Dowling (Darla Omstead); and his sister-in-law Norma Dowling. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home (35 Longworth Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A5A3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home Chapel (35 Longworth Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A5A3).
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Dialysis Unit.
