He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Anita Belle Bernard (Labobe); his siblings, Gloria, Patrick (Peter Legere), Preston and Johnny Mitchell; and his brother-in-law Emmett Peters.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wendell (Cathy), Judy Peters, Pag, James Wayne Bernard and Sandra Basque (Vincent); and his uncle Hardy Labobe. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
