He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Evans and Rita Evans; his siblings, Joan, Marion, Tommy and Reggie; and his nephews, Gene Evans and Randy Reeves.

He is survived by: his sons, Chris (Michelle) and Shawn (Ann Marie); his siblings, Mary MacPherson (Lynwood), Kaye MacDougall (Duke), Shirley Reeves (Alf), Bob, Ken (late Eve), Fred (Joanne) and Don (Helen); and his brother-in-law Pat MacKay. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
