She was predeceased by: her spouse Glennie Coles; her parents, Ted Newson and Marion Newson (MacPherson); her sister Beryl Cullen (Johnny); and her brothers-in-law, Barry MacGillivray, Bill Dalziel, Gerry MacDonald and Donnie McKenna.
She is survived by: her children, Calvin, Dean (Demetra), Amy (Connor) and Belinda (Robert); and her siblings, Sylvia MacGillivray, Cedric Newson (Wilma), Lorena Dalziel, Donna MacDonald, Janice McKenna and Rosalie Cudmore (Leonard). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
