He was predeceased by: his parent Henry; his brothers, Gerald, Henry Gerard and Kenneth; his brothers-in-law, Lowell Robertson and Albert Squires; and also Adelina.

He is survived by: his wife Linda (Savoie); his children, Anne (Kevin), Joanna (Chris) and Dawn; his grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Callum, Camden and Ryder; and his siblings, Ronnie (Theresa), Janice (Gordon), Doreen, Ralph (Brenda), Arnold, Ricky (Marilyn), Brian (Georgie), Neil (Nicole), Nelson, Stevie (Sonya), Estelle and Celeste (Kevin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
