He was predeceased by: his wife Josie Larter; his parents, Gladys Larter and Les Larter; and his siblings, Alice Anne Baird and Charles Larter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Colleen Larter and Sharon Larter; his grandchildren, Laine Smith (Colby Kelly) and Lauren Smith; and his nieces, Michelle, Debbie and Arlene.
