She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Chandler and Elinor Chandler (Unsworth); her brothers-in-law, Blair MacDonald, Hillard Toombs and Morris Jenkins; and her nephew Andrew Cox.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin; her son Philip (Connie); her granddaughters, Abigail, Alexandra and Gillian Jenkins; her sister Sylvia Cox; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley MacDonald and Dalphy Toombs. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
