He was predeceased by : his parents, Leslie Jones and Fern Jones. He is survived by : his children, Benjamin (Claire) of Charlottetown and Julie (Anthony) of Charlottetown; the mother of his children Janet of Pleasant Grove; and his siblings, Ronald (Carol) of Saint John, NB and Bonnie May (Roger) of Charlottetown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lowell's memory to the PEI Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
