He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Ridlington (Rudy) of Quebec, PQ and Winnifred Kathleen Ridlington; his parents-in-law, Clare and Robert Farquharson; and his brothers-in-law, Terry Donnelly, Jim Farquharson and Larry Welton.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Dr. Tracy Lynn Steinitz (Dan), Stephanie Leigh Ridlington, Rosalyn Claire Abbott (Craig) and Rebecca Jane Ridlington; his grandchildren, Dhalia, Andreas Steinitz, James, Susannah and Ellen Abbott; his brother Steve Ridlington (Susan); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Anne Donnelly, Mary Jane Zinck (Dale), Diane Farquharson, Robert (Dianne), Ruth Welton and John Farquharson (Donna). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Zion Presbyterian Church (135 Prince St, Charlottetown, PE C1A7K2).
