We are sad to announce that, on July 22, 2023, at the age of 91, Margaret Josephine MacEwen (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William York MacEwen; her parents, John Ambrose and Maybel Catherine Doyle (Monaghan); her daughter Deborah Lynn MacEwen; her grandson Michael MacEwen; and her siblings, Linus Doyle, Pat Doyle, Bernadette Proctor, Mary Walsh and Faustina Gallant.
She is survived by: her children, Horace MacEwen (Anne), William, Billy MacEwen, Ross MacEwen, Malcolm, Mackie MacEwen, Allison, Allie MacEwen, Pamela Trainor (Allan) and Krista MacEwen; her grandchildren, Mark (Laurie), Cindy (Wayne), Melanie (Vito), Amanda (late Mark), Matthew (Holly), Jordan (Danielle), Melissa, David, Shannon, Keith, Zoe, Kelly (Nigel), Kyle, Sophie, Chelsea and Courtney; her great grandchild Emma; her siblings, Nora Doyle of Ireland, Gennie Pineau (late Merrill) and Dunstan Doyle; and her sisters-in-law, Marion Doyle and Pauline Doyle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
