Margaret Jane MacNevin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Jane MacNevin (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Hector MacNevin; her parents, Brewer Boyle and Sarah Boyle (MacFadyen); her son David Kent MacNevin; her grandson Daryl Aiken; and her son-in-law Alistair Aiken.
She is survived by: her children, Marlene Aiken, Linda Smith (Rick), Keith MacNevin (Ruth), Blair MacNevin (Linda) and Dennis MacNevin (Shelly); her grandchildren, Jamie (Kelley), Peter (Michelle), Alison (Peter), Charlotte, Christina (Cleigh), Amanda (Neil), Joel (Kelsey), Jeremy (Laura), Andrew (Becky), Jennifer (Steven), Ashley and Jake; her granddaughter-in-law Vanessa Aiken; and her sister Eileen Saunders. She is also survived by 32 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Belvedere Funeral Home (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital or the Free Church of Scotland.
