She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mitchell and Loretta Mitchell; her brother Gerald Mitchell; her friend Dorothy McInnis; her nieces, Mary McWade and Eileen McWade; and also, Marjorie O'Keefe, Frank O'Keefe, Betty McWade, Gordon McWade, Mary Hennessey and Lou Hennessey.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Julia Mitchell. She is also survived by cousins; and numerous grand and great grand nieces.
Members of the Charlottetown Hospital Nurses Alumnae will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Thursday at 4:30 p.m Memorial donations may be made to the PEI Right to Life Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation (PEI).
