With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margaret (Helen) Phalen (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), born in Vernon Bridge, Prince Edward Island, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Murphy and Edna Murphy; her husband Edward Joseph Phalen; her grandchildren, Willie Phalen, Racheal Chandler and Jumoke Phalen; her daughter Michelle Phalen; and her siblings, Joan MacDonald, Jean Hepler, Kenneth Murphy and Maurice Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Costello (Kent), Cheryl McGillivray (David), Barbara Phalen, Debra Chandler, Daniel Phalen (Marion), Edward Phalen, Mary Phalen (Craig Mackie) and Heather Phalen (Carla MacAdam); and her siblings, Linda Murphy, Beatrice Kelly, Valerie Ward and Tommy Murphy. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Helen may be made to the St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Sturgeon.
