She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Roper and Russell Roper; her siblings-in-law, Roy Roper (Betty), Frank Roper and Marlene Wilson (Roy); and her son-in-law Ronnie Spence.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Shelfoon (Wayne), Sandi Lowther (Scott), Donna Spence (Ronnie) and Dwayne MacNeill (Caytlin Martin); her grandchildren, Lester Wah (Candice), Matthew Spence (Santanna McQuillan), Shawn Spence (Jenna), Brian Spence, Chelsea Lowther (Nathan McKearney), Adam Lowther (Audrey-Anne Jean) and William Stear; and her sister-in-law Joan Roper. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial donations in Marie's memory may be made to Make A Wish Foundation Charlottetown Chapter or the Provincial Palliative Care Centre and would be gratefully appreciated.
