She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Anne, Jane (Michael), Sheila (John), Alan (Laurie) and Brian (Janice); her grandchildren, Josh (Ron), Duncan, Sean, Andrew, Sarah (Matt), Anne Marie, Molly (Travis), Isabella and Oliver; her great grandchild Leni; her sister Lea Hogan; her parents, Frank O Brien and Emily O Brien (Kenny); her husband Johnny; and her siblings, Louis, Francis, John, Jerome, Eileen, Martin, Kenneth, Frances and Wilfred.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the QEH where Marie received professional, compassionate care from the Unit 1 staff during her brief stay.
