It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Joy Spence of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Sheridan and Myrtle Sheridan (Horne); her sisters, Joan Cameron, Judy Withrow and Jackie Sheridan; and her parents-in-law, Victor and Ruth.

She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Mitch (Jan), Scott (Brenda Carr), Pam Quilty (Walter) and Brock (Nicole Herbert); her grandchildren, Tyler Carr (Jenna), Amy Spence, Lauren Quilty and Liam Quilty; her siblings-in-law, Don Cameron, Lew Withrow, Robert Spence (Phyllis) and Linda Jardine (Red); Verna Wood and Jean Kimpinski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
