Marion Evelyn (Smith) Gilbert Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Evelyn (Smith) Gilbert (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on September 2, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Smith and Catherine Smith (Steele); her husband John Gilbert (Jack); her siblings, Bert, Reg, Pat, Lucy, Anne, Edna and Kay; and her siblings-in-law, Eileen Smith, Marion Smith, Bernie Doyle, Terry Reilly, Mel Dalton, Bud MacKinnon and Wray Gilbert.

She is survived by: her children, Catherine (Sandy) of Savannah, GA, Michael (Barb) and Lisa; her grandchildren, Matthew Gilbert, Jennifer Cairns (Jonathan), Alyse Rossiter and Katie Rossiter; her great grandchildren, Braiden, Alyvia and Irelyn Rossiter; her sisters, Mary Reilly of Brantford, ON and Emma Dalton of Brantford, ON; and her brother-in-law Neil MacDonald of Canton, MA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
