She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" and Alice Courtney (Gallant); and her brother John Daniel Courtney. She is survived by: her sons, Nathan (Stefanie) and Noel Sherwood (Janice); her grandchildren, Ethan, Anabel and Oliver Sherwood; and her brothers, Tom Courtney (Jane), Ken Courtney and Pat Courtney (Roma Generaux).
