She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Long; her parents, James Thistle and Mary Thistle (Arsenault); her sons, Joseph Patrick Long (Linda Williams) and John Long; and her siblings, John (Evelyn), Claude, Joseph, Lillian Quevillian (Luc) and Cecilia "Sis" Dowling (Leo).
She is survived by: her children, Ann Wedge, David and James (Hiromi); her brother Mark Thistle (Betty); and her siblings-in-law, Sylvia Thistle and Ginny Thistle. She is also survived by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandson.
