We are sad to announce that, on July 25, 2023, at the age of 90, Matilda Bessie (Tillie) MacEwen of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son John Morrell; her granddaughter Ashley Penny; her son-in-law John McLaren; her parents, Daniel Morrison and Millie Morrison; her siblings, Kathryn McInnis, Robert, Nelson and David Morrison (late Leslie Morrell); and her parents-in-law, Walter McInnis and Jean Morrison.
She is survived by: her husband Elbert; her children, Elsie Morrell (Phillip Chiasson), Donna McLaren, Danny Morrell (Angela MacCormac), Darlene Mallard, Marilyn Penny (Robert), Kathy Stewart (Alan) and Earle Morrell (Cindy); her grandchildren, Tina, Tyler, Darlene, Dana, Jody, Vince, Nancy, Karyn, Dianne, David, Coady, Bradley, Steven, Aaron, Alisa, Zachary, Fallon and Hailey; her children-in-law, Ruth Mills, Cathy Morrell and Peter Mallard; and her sisters-in-law, Emily Morrison and Vicki Griffin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
