Matilda (Stewart) Wakelin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matilda (Stewart) Wakelin (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on July 23, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Matilda (Stewart) Wakelin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bud Wakelin; her parents, Leigh Stewart and Ellen Stewart (Johnston); and her siblings, Dorothy, Francis, James and Arthur.

She is survived by: her children, Peggy Lavigueur (Paul) and Robert Wakelin (Laura Lee); her grandchildren, April Lavigueur (Ray Bain), Jennifer, Ryan Wakelin, Darci and Casey Bain; and her brother Cecil Stewart (Roseanne Shepard). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
