He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan Gass and Lydia Gass (MacDonald); and his siblings, Wilbur, John and Bernice.

He is survived by: his children, Randy, Kim Andrews (Bob) and Robb; his grandchildren, Matthew, Jordan and Katie Andrews; and his brother Andy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
