He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his son Garry (Nellie); his stepgrandsons, Dan and John; his granddaughter Kimberly; and his siblings, Roscoe (Norma), Janey Shelfoon and Etheline Beaton (Eardley). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
