He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Scotto and Virginia Scotto (McNally); his parents-in-law, John and Mary Carmichael (Murphy); his siblings-in-law, Urban, Duncan Carmichael, Julie Jackson and Kelly Brooker; and his uncle Daniel "Joe" Knockwood.
He is survived by: his wife Margie (Carmichael); his sons, John of Halifax, NS and Mark (Melissa) of Pleasant Grove; his stepfather Charles Somers of St. Georges; his siblings, Helen Woodcheke (Steve), Elizabeth Fiorello (Nick), Artie (Maggie), John and Peter Scotto; and his siblings-in-law, Genevieve Fitzpatrick, Dan Carmichael, Noreen Brooker, Leona Moher and John Carmichael.
Mike's wake will be held at Hennessey Cutcliffe Funeral Home on Friday, October 22nd from 4:00 to 7:00 p. m. by invitation with COVID-19 restrictions in place.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the QEH Foundation, PEI Heart and Stroke Foundation and/or your local food bank.
