She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Olmstead; her parents, Dan Taylor and Maude Taylor; her parents-in-law, Cecil and Lillian Olmstead; her siblings, Madden Taylor (Gladys), Bill Taylor (Olive), Sarah MacEachern (Wilfred), Anne Sturmey, Reg Taylor (Viola), Roy Taylor (Sadie), Eva MacArthur (Ted), Katie Prest (Ernest) and Marium; and her sister-in-law June Taylor.

She is survived by: her stepgrandchildren, Shane Jr. (Suzie), Jami-Ellen (Rick) and Stephen (Christine); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Cam, Sam and Luke; her brother Lloyd Taylor; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Olmstead of Burlington, ON, Joan Olmstead of Ottawa, ON, Beverley Ladurantaye of Perth, ON, Ron Code of Wasaga Beach, ON and Dale Fawthrop (Jean) of Amherst, NS. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
