He was predeceased by: his son David; and his parents, Pius McGaughey and Mary McGaughey (O'Regan). He is survived by: his children, Michael (Beth), Marion, Terence, Sheila (Jim Coyle), Ellyn (Rolland Young), Colleen (Morrie Jewell) and Shawn (Tara Noland); his grandchildren, Ashley, Laurette, Meghan, Nicholas, Matthew, Emily, Timothy, Denise, Caleb and Hannah; his great grandchildren, Maeve and Jackson; and his siblings, Mary McAllister (late Don) and Julia Mitchell (late Gerald).
