She was predeceased by: her husband Norris Scott; her parents, Hammond Rodd and Myrtle Rodd (Newson); her daughter Valerie Waite; and her siblings, Nellie, Earl, Alice, Wendell, Verna, Reta, Olive and Sterling.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda MacNeill (Bruce), Derrill Scott (Diane) and Ronnie Scott (Spencer); her grandchildren, Jason (Canda), Peter (J. J.) and Tasha (Tim); her great grandchildren, Skye, Shamus, Jack, Violet, Gavin, Dylan, Brennan and Skyla; and her sister Roma Ewles. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
