She was predeceased by: her parents, Beaumount Newport and Emily Newport (Higgins); her brother David Newport; and her father-in-law Don Shaw. She is survived by: her husband Greg; her children, Mona Shaw (Blake LeBlanc) and Ryan Shaw; her brother Roy Newport (Nicole Barry); her mother-in-law Elinor Shaw; her brother-in-law Peter Shaw (Brenda); her nephew Matthew Newport; and her pet Charlie.
