He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Ursula (Coleman); and his siblings, Gordon, Carol and Herman of Regina, Saskatchewan..
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Basky; his children, Kathy Neily (Donald) of Charlottetown and Ken (Thi Nguyen) of Charlottetown; his grandchildren, Isaac Neily (Holly Doyle), Laura Neily, Garth Neily Kristen (Kenna Guthrie) and Kurt Hovland; his great grandchildren, Vera and Rowan Neily; his grandchildren, Mueni Mutinda (Christian) and Katinda Shearer (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Cordell, Kaya and Miika.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Belvedere Funeral Home (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9).
