He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman "Hawk" and Kathleen Larter (McGlinchey); his grandparents, Michael McGlinchy, Catherine McGlinchy (McCool), Rendle Larter and Jessie Larter (Campbell); and his uncles, Patrick McGlinchey, Mary Martin (Bobbie), Peter McGlinchey (Phyllis), Nora McGlinchey, Thelma Larter, Linda MacDonald (Eldon), Eleanor McCaull (Arnold), Dewar Larter (Florence) and Arline Glover (Donnie).
He is survived by: his siblings, Judy MacDonald (Gary), Lynda Moore (late Russell), Carol Axworthy (Weston), Michael McGuigan (Laverne), Helen Doucette (Reg) and Nora McAleer (Peter); his nieces and nephews, Denise MacDonald-Vail (Wayne), Andrea Soucy (Louis), Patricia Axworthy (Wade Laybolt), Tracey Huggan (Darryl), Amanda Axworthy (John Fraser), Michael John Larter (Dawn), Brenda MacDonald (Cyrus), Jody Doucette (Michelle), Jason Doucette (Ann Marie), Olivia Doucette, Peter McAleer (Kristanne) and Jennifer Jeffreys (Dennis); and his aunts, Ellen Daniel and Carolyn McGlinchey (James).
