He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Renée Blanchette; his children, Rebecca Phillips (Sam) and Michael Bernard; his parents-in-law, Edward and Daphne Blanchette; his sister-in-law Suzanne Blanchette (Chris); his grandchildren, Shannon Phillips (Micah) and Kaelyn Phillips (Rylan); his parents, Gerard Bernard and Gladys Bernard; his siblings, Patricia Wick, Gail Bernard, Linda Bernard, Donna Peters (Jim), Susan Weatherbee (Charles), Gregory Bernard, Heather McLaurin (Geoff) and Robert Bernard; and his nephew Paul.
