He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gallant and Hazel Gallant (Miller); and his siblings, Brian "Bud" Gallant, Joseph Gallant, Wanda Gallant and Claire Clow (Blair).

He is survived by: his spouse Evelyn (Jones); his children, Melissa DesRoches (Ryan) and Andrew Gallant (Kathy); his grandchildren, Hazel, Quentin and Mason; his siblings, Faye Bain (Glen) and Corinne Bain (David); and his sibling-in-law Sheila Gallant. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
