He was predeceased by: his wife Verna Bishop (MacDonald); his parents, John Bishop and Lois Bishop (Young); his siblings, John, Donald, Peggy and Dorothy; his brother-in-law Everett MacDonald (Irma); his son-in-law Mike McNeill; and his parents-in-law, Vernon and Evelyn MacDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Linda McNeill, Stephen (Sharon) of Mississauga, ON, Karen MacPherson (Alan) of Halifax, NS and Ralph of Ottawa, ON.; his grandchildren, Craig (Jayne), Chris, Meghan Bishop (Ethan), Nicole, Connor (Chelsea) and Kaleigh MacPherson; and his sister-in-law Esther MacQuade (Roland).
