It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reginald Joseph Doucette of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Doucette and Zilda Doucette; his sister Dianne Thomson; his brothers-in-law, Jim Thomson, Stirling Peters and Terry Byrne; his parents-in-law, Kathleen Larter (McGlinchey) and Norman Larter (Hawk); his brothers-in-law, Michael Larter, Norman P. Larter and Russell Moore; and his nephews, Cyrus MacDonald and John Fraser.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Jean Doucette (Larter); his children, Jody (Michelle), Jason (Anne Marie) and Olivia Doucette; his grandchildren, Anthony (Katherine Cudmore), Nathan, Cassie, Cohen, Julia and Jordyn Doucette; and his siblings, Shirley Byrne, Linda Peters (Bill Harper), Camilla McAleer (John) and Donald Doucette (Carol). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
