He is survived by: his son Rex McCarville III; his stepdaughters, Lori Lavers Ronahan (Kent) and Jodi Lavers Knox (Chris); his grandsons, Jack and James Ronahan; his brother Gordy McCarville; and his former wife Marjorie St. John MacLean.
