He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burns and Mary Sally Burns (Campbell); and his siblings, Wilfred, Donnie (Marie), Maurice (Debby), Bobby, Jim (Dot), Gertie Wolfe (Frank) and Helen Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Kimberly Younker (David), Amanda Burns and Blair Burns (Heidi); his grandchildren, Kelsey Cudmore, Cody Cudmore, Logan Younker (Shea), Brandon Younker, Jordyn Knox and Madison Knox; his great grandchildren, Suzie and Tucker; his siblings, Mike Burns (Theresa), Andy Burns and Carley Cormier (Jimmy); and his brother-in-law Mike Bell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Belvedere Funeral Home (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9).
