As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley Hayes and Mary Hayes; his siblings, Douglas (Suzanne) and Nancy Smith; his brother-in-law Ivan Smith; and his nieces and nephews, Jason, Pamela, Caitlin and Liam.
A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sherwood Cemetery (355 Sherwood Rd, Charlottetown, PE C1E0E5).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Charlottetown Food Bank.
