He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. MacKenzie and Margaret MacKenzie (MacLennan); his siblings, Dorothy MacLean, Mary E., Kenneth, John, Donald and Cuyler; and his son-in-law Kirk Allen.
He is survived by: his spouse Betty (MacLeod); his children, David (Barb), Richard (Bonnie), Janice MacPherson (Murray), Thane Wright (Laura) and Judy Wright (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Kirklin, Lillian, Myia, Tegan, Devlin and Ailen; and his sister-in-law Marion MacKenzie.
