He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Doucette and Rita Doucette; his wife Donna Doucette (Francis); his in-laws, Edward and Thelma Francis; his siblings, Ronnie Doucette, Carol Doucette and Jeanette Arsenault; and his brothers-in-law, Fan MacIntyre, Jim Getson, Allan Arsenault and Keith Francis.

He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Homer; his daughters, Shelly MacDonnell (Steve), Kyla Trainor (Robert) and Jana Vessey (Jamie); his grandchildren, Cole, Zach, Alex, Madison, Seth, Sara, Sheamus and Meghan; his sisters, Joanne MacIntyre and Beverley Getson; and his siblings-in-law, Grace Doucette and Gregg Francis (Wan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
