It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ester Birt of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Everett Maynard Birt; her parents, Thomas Gilbert and Maryanne Gilbert; and her granddaughter Priscilla Jollivett. She is survived by: her children, Lillian Gould (Walter), Brenda Birt, Ann MacMillan (Barry), Ricky Birt, Russell Birt (Pat), Janet White (Barry) and Rosemary Arsenault (John); and her siblings-in-law, Myrna Peters (Eddie), Marlene Pater and Lorne Birt. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
